Bookmobile Team
Our Purpose
The Cobb County Public Library Bookmobile Team is dedicated to extending the library’s resources beyond our branch walls, bringing books, programs, and services directly to communities across the county. Our goal is to reach underserved areas, foster a love of reading, and provide convenient access to library services for all ages. With a team of dedicated staff members from different branches, we work together to ensure that the bookmobile offers an engaging, inclusive, and enriching experience wherever it goes.
Our Objectives
Collaborate on Stops: Help suggest new stops in areas you know could benefit from the bookmobile.
Run and Assist at Stops: You’ll be helping to operate the bookmobile—driving it, setting it up, and engaging with patrons at the stops.
Special Programs: If you have ideas for programs or events we can do at bookmobile stops, feel free to share those ideas with the team.
Feedback and Reporting: After stops, share your experiences with me and the team—what worked, what didn’t, and any ideas for improvement.
Support and Engage: We’re here to support one another, so let’s work together to make the bookmobile successful across the county.
